
Mary Smucker-Priest Named Search Engine Marketing Manager at 451 Marketing

Prior to joining 451 Marketing, Smucker-Priest served as a Search Marketing Account Manager for over four years at Backbone Media, a search engine marketing and website design firm. There, she was responsible for managing organic and paid search campaigns from concept to fruition for a variety of business-to- business, healthcare and high technology companies. At Backbone Media, Smucker-Priest preserved relationships with high value retainer clients for over three years and boasted a 0% attrition rate.
Previously, Smucker-Priest worked for eight years in nonprofits including Habitat for Humanity and Action for Boston Community Development, and most recently as the Membership Director at Minute Man National Park Association, the nonprofit partner to Minute Man National Park. There, she helped increase membership by 500% through prospect research and outreach. She also created and managed a database of members and prospects, wrote marketing materials and monthly membership newsletters, and organized various special events for the organization.
